A: Currently we accept payment with PayPal. In the near future we will
accepting more methods such as Authorize.net, GoogleCheckout and Worldpay.
A: Once you are logged into your account, you will see a link in the
upper right hand corner of the page that says: "My Subscription" simply
click this link and select your new membership level.
A: Simply log into your Paypal account and cancel your subscription.
A: Yes! We have an inhouse affiliate program that pays 25% residual
monthly income on all monthly fees collected.
If you are not a member of NGL, sign up for our affiliate program here: Affiliate sign up form If you are already a member of NGL, your affiliate account was created automatically when you joined. You can access your affiliate back office by clicking on the affiliate link that appears on your Overview Page.
A: Really? A new website can be completely set up and start receiving
new incoming links in about 15-20 minutes.
But I know what you mean and this will vary depending on the size of your site. If you have a very large site, it will take longer for the spider to contextually analyze and create the CSV file for it. However, we have designed the spider with this in mind. We have added a pause button to the spider, so if you have a large site and do not want to wait for the spider to completely analyze the entire site, simply pause and download what has been completed to that point, then continue spidering in the background or at a later date. Upload the CSV with what has been spidered so far and complete the setup and start getting links to those pages right away.
A: That's a great question! NextGenlinks is a completely new concept
in automated link building software, it really is the Next Generation of
how links should be thought of and acquired.Hands down, the most impressive feature of NGL is the fact that it builds incoming links to your INNER pages and not only to your Homepage. Up until now all other software on the market will direct all links to your homepage and will completely neglect your deep pages. The problem with this type of automation is that it simply is not natural. When a site owner finds something on your site that he thinks his users will find interesting, he will link directly to that page. That's what NGL does and that's what the Search Engine's notice. There are many other features that NGL can boast that clearly put it heads above the rest, but you'll need to read about those here, there's just not enough room in the FAQ's for them to fit ;o)
A: Here's a typical scenario:
In Month 1: Your site and all of it's
inner pages will be added to the database. Each page will begin to slowly
and naturally acquire high quality links on a day by day basis.
A: If you have just added the snippet, it is possible that the software
has not had sufficient time to spider your pages and detect it yet. Right
next to where it says that the snippet has not been detected is a link that
says "Re-Check", click that link and the software will go and
check immediately for the snippet.
A: It is enough to be on a PHP enabled server, so long as the file you're
placing the Snippet into is parsed as PHP by the server. Some servers parse
PHP code inside of .html files, or even custom extensions. That being said,
the default installation on most servers requires the file to end with .phpThe best way to test this, is to place this code: <?php echo 1; ?> into a file on your site and name it test.html Open the file in your browser. If it has a 1 on it, then the server is parsing .html files with PHP in them. If it does not work, there is a quick way to tell your server to parse php inside of a .html file by adding this to your .htaccess file AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php .html for more information on that see: Make PHP to work in your HTML files with .htacess
A: Save the CSV file to your desktop when the spider is finished spidering
and prompts you to do so:
If you have to open the CSV to edit it, you may run into some errors when re-saving, this is perfectly normal. Here is what you do: 1. Save the CSV, if this message appears, click "Yes":
2. Then Close the CSV file, when you get this message, click "No", then upload the CSV:
A: Yes. But depending on which version of Wordpress you are running,
you may or may not need to install a plugin called exec-php. This plugin
enables your wordpress blog to parse php from any page on the blog,
including inside of html text widgets. You can download the exec-php plugin here. Exec-PHP Plugin. Once you've downloaded it, unzip it and upload the exec-php folder to your WP plugins folder and then activate the plugin.
A: This is a bit more than just a quick Question and answer type faq,
but it has been asked several times so I figured it was a good idea to
post it here :)There have been some new developments by Google, Yahoo and MSN regarding duplicate content and how you as a webmaster can help to normalize how your URLs appear to the search engines. This is very important when it comes to linking because there are several different ways that the same page on your site can appear in the search engines and each one of these is considered an entirely different page and sometimes even different domain. So if you do not spend the time to figure out the "canonical" ( preferred URL in search engine terms ) url that you want to link to, but rather spread out your links by linking to many different forms of the same page. you are in fact wasting your time and linking efforts. This page by Matt Cutts of Google explains this and offers a quick fix in further detail: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/canonical-link-tag/ Here is a slideshow from the page for further explanation: Here is another great post on the seomoz.org site that explains the importance of creating a "canonical" form of your URLs:
A: No, it is not necessary to login to create and approve links, the
system will do this for you automatically. Once you have spidered your
pages and added the snippet code to them, the program will take over and
your job is done. However, you can still have complete control over the links if you want. The default setting for your account is set to "Auto Approve" but by clicking one button on the Overview Page of your account, you can set each Domain individually to "Manual Approve", which means you can now monitor all incoming and outgoing links. In Manual Approve mode, the system will continue to create links for you, but they must be approved by you before they are active. You can also bypass the system created links and create your own links within the system. You have full control.
A: There are a few things that can go wrong with the online spider
app. Sometimes it gets tied up if the servers are being slammed with
link requests, or it may get stuck on the robots.txt file and seem to go
nowhere. If this is the case, in the spider app is a link for settings, open that link and you can adjust all the settings for the spider. For example you can select for the spider to ignore the robots.txt file, you can adjust the speed and style of contextual parsing etc. If you continue to have problems with the online spider, you can always download the personal desktop version of the application and run it directly from your desktop. The downloadable spider app can be found here:
